Starlink and 5G home internet are helping close the digital divide, but they're far from perfect.

The short version

  • Glue them together, and you can get awfully close.
  • This spring, my wife and I moved from the Denver suburbs into the Colorado Rockies.
  • The high-altitude retreat presented a welcome reprieve from our otherwise tech-dominated lives.

What happened

Why it matters

I’m speaking, of course, about software defined wide-area-networking (SD-WAN).
