Pikmin 4 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition launches 12th November and a demo is out tomorrow

Pikmin 4 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will launch on 12th November, bundled with a new mode called Dandori Academy.

• Nintendo confirmed the date during yesterday's surprise Pikmin Day Direct, which also revealed that a demo will land on the Nintendo eShop on 2nd November.
• Any progress you make in the demo will transfer to the full game if you buy it.
• Dandori Academy is a timed exam mode.

What happened

The Direct showed off one of its exams, Gargantuan Garden, which challenges players to collect gold nuggets before time runs out ( thanks, Insider Gaming ). The Switch 2 Edition will also let you give voice commands to Oatchi, the game’s dog companion.

Why it matters

If you already own Pikmin 4 on the original Switch, you can buy an upgrade pack from the eShop.
